A collaboration partnership with matchroom boxing charitable and grassroots collaborative partnership
President Nicole Ross of Hands Across Philadelphia welcomed IBF World Champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis to the Ms. Amelia Boynton-Robinson Peace Center at John F. Hartranft School, where he spoke to the children about strength, perseverance, and staying focused on their goals.
The center honors the legacy of Ms. Amelia Boynton, a courageous civil rights activist who marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, paving the way for voting rights and justice.
Mama Gail has been putting beautiful spaces like this all over the city inside schools to give youth life skills support & resources seeing people who have achieved great things that look like them or come from the same background.
It was a powerful and joyful day, uniting generations through stories of courage and triumph. LET’S GO, BOOTS!! 🥊🥊
Special thanks to Alex from Matchroom Boxing for utilizing SDG# 17 collaborative partnerships 🫶🏽❤️supporting our youth and grassroot initiatives in the communites that need all our support most!
